Discovery Session- We offer a "35 minute for $35" consultation to allow us to meet in person in our central Austin, TX office, or online, and discuss your concerns. This allows us to see if you're a good fit for us and to make sure we feel we can help you get better!
Physical Therapy Evaluation*- An examination of the area(s) of concern and your body as a whole to determine the root cause of your limitation(s) in order to establish an appropriate plan of care. An initial home program plus education is provided to address the main dysfunctions found from the tests and measurements performed. Follow up sessions are required depending on initial test results and a full plan of care recommendation will be discussed with each client at the end of the evaluation.
Pelvic Floor Therapy*- Evidence-based evaluation and treatment focused on pelvic floor dysfunctions in women. This is performed by a therapist specially trained in pelvic floor health. Diagnoses treated include: diastasis recti, prolapse, urinary and stress incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, pain with intercourse (dyspareunia), pain due to trauma, endometriosis, vulvar pain, interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome, and general weakness during pregnancy and postpartum. Pelvic floor dysfunction can often times be associated with chronic back pain, SI joint dysfunction, hip pain, sports injuries and headaches.
Well Woman Exam*- Our wellness screen for women! In this holistic health assessment, we discuss your nutrition, sleep, stress and perform a full body musculoskeletal assessment to see how your movement and central nervous systems are functioning together in order to provide you with education to better understand your body and a plan to improve your wellbeing. This can include a pelvic floor assessment (may be internal and/or external depending on your wants, needs, and comfort level). A plan of care recommendation will be discussed based on exam results and goals for each client. This is great for clients wanting to take a proactive approach with their health and optimize function prior to pain or injury.
Online Consultations- A virtual session is convenient for clients if they work odd hours, travel out of town, are not local to Austin, TX, or are unable to make it into our clinic.
Trigger Point Dry Needling- A manual therapy technique utilizing a thin needle placed into specific areas of the muscle to release trigger points, reduce movement impairments, and improve healing.
*Please note, we currently only offer these services for women ready and willing to commit to a full plan of care to improve their health. No one-off sessions available at this time.
