By Dr. Jessica Warnecke, PT, DPT, OCS Globally, it is estimated that over half of all mothers have some level of prolapse post baby, with up to 20% having symptoms limiting daily life. While moms attend months of classes learning how to care for their newborn child, schedule an average of 8 MD visits for their baby in the first year, and only have ONE planned visit for themselves, it's no wonder that mothers don't get properly educated on how to care for THEIR healing body.
